Do You Charge Tax?

With every order, sales tax will be applied to your subtotal at checkout. This tax portion includes both the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), if applicable and depending on the province you reside in.

Do You Offer a Compassionate Discount?

As part of our commitment to our community here at MMJ, we are pleased to offer a 5% compassionate discount to members who meet certain eligibility requirements. We understand that some members of our community may face unique challenges or circumstances, which is why we offer discounts to those who are eligible based on the following criteria: - Long-term disability: Confirmation of long-term disability or a paystub proving long-term disability benefits. - Military service: Canadian Forces ID Card or Record of Service ID Card. - Senior citizen status: Proof of age document indicating that you are 65 years of age or above. - EMS (emergency medical staff): Valid EMS service card. - First Nations: Status Card. To apply for your discount, simply provide the appropriate documentation to one of our live agents. We understand that providing personal information can be sensitive, which is why we take privacy and security seriously. *Please note that compassionate discounts cannot be stacked. If you qualify for more than one of the categories listed above, we will only issue a single 5% discount code through a category of your choice.

How do I use my refund code?

Once you have submitted a Refund Request, and your request has been approved, you will receive a refund code via email. This refund code is equivalent to the dollar value of your refund, and can be redeemed at checkout toward your next purchase. A refund code looks like this: refund_123456 To redeem your refund code, click to enter a code, type in refund code and click Apply coupon. If your refund includes free shipping, this coupon will also apply toward free shipping. Refund codes not expire!

Why Am I Being Charged Tax?

If you've noticed charges for Goods and Services Tax (GST) or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) on your online purchases, you're not alone. This change is part of Canadian regulations aimed at levelling the playing field between online and in-store shopping. Understanding the Taxes GST is a federal tax, while HST combines federal and provincial components in certain provinces. These taxes are now applied based on your location, so if you live in a province with GST or HST, these charges will appear at checkout.

Why Was My Order Canceled?

Please note that if payment is not received within 24 hours of placing your order, it will automatically be canceled. If your order has been canceled, please refrain from sending in payment until you have placed a new order. We understand that mistakes can happen, and if you send payment for an order that has been canceled, we will add the amount of your payment as a store credit onto your account which you can redeem toward a new order at your earliest convenience.
